NASA TechRise is expected to open in September 2026, inviting teams of students in grades 6–12 to design and build an experiment for testing on a NASA-sponsored high-altitude balloon flight. Guided by an educator, eligible teams from U.S. public, private, and charter schools may submit proposals; 60 winning teams will receive $1,500 in build funding, technical support, and a flight opportunity for their experiment. https://www.futureengineers.org/nasatechrise
